Dr. Ann Wentz, Associate Professor in the School for Education, serves on the Park University Assessment Committee where she has become a mainstay for eight years due to her signficant contributions. Her colleagues on this committee are especially grateful for her knowledge, kindness, respect and encouragement. She also participates in assessment in the School for Education as Department Chair for middle and secondary levels.
Dr. Wentz came to the Midwest from New Jersey to attend the University of Kansas where she earned three degrees. She completed her Ed. D in 1997. During those 16 years, she taught at Lawrence High School and then in the Shawnee Mission District. Dr. Wentz has a husband of forty years, two grown children, and six grandchildren, all with whom she shares her free time. Ann feels that her experiences at Park continue to bring pleasure and challenge.
PROFILE: PAUL FORD
Paul Ford is Regional Academic Director for Park University and Academic Director for Park's Little Rock Air Force Base Campus Center. As a result, he is very active in faculty development activities and participates in numerous "Faculty Development Institutes" that are organized by the School for Extended Learning/College for Distance Learning.
Paul has taught courses in management, marketing, economics, and statistics for universities in Arkansas and Louisiana, and he has taught at Park for 23 years. He is the author of instructor manuals for university online courses in business strategy and marketing and has published numerous articles related to energy management. Paul is the manager of customer relations for Entergy Arkansas, Inc., a Fortune 100 utility firm. He and his staff are responsible for responding to regulatory complaints and energy related issues of the Arkansas Public Service Commission and various governmental agencies. They also provide customer service support to Entergy Arkansas' residential and commercial customers.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Arkansas and an MBA degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He and his wife, Jo, have two grown daughters and a granddaughter. |
