Park University

Park University Theatre will present the world debut of "In Death" on Apr. 14-16 at 8 p.m. in the Black Box Theater in Alumni Hall building at the Parkville campus.

"In Death" is an original play written and directed by Park Theatre and English major Bobby Hoops. The story is about a young man, Adam, who commits suicide only to wake up at his funeral three days later as a spirit. He is promptly greeted by a spirit guide, Marko, who informs him that he cannot rest yet. Adam learns that we do not dictate the beginning or the end of our lives, and that even in death we must still fulfill a purpose. In order to be able to move on, Adam must embark on a supernatural journey to confront the demons of his life, and tie up the loose ends left as a result of his premature death. This is a story or rebirth, repentance, and redemption.

General Admission is $5. Park University students receive free admission by presenting a current student I.D. at the box office window.
