The Park University-Austin campus will celebrate its relocation to the Avallon-Building II, located at 10415 Morado Circle in Austin, Texas, with a ribbon cutting on Apr. 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Park President Beverley Byers-Pevitts, Ph.D., will be in attendance to cut the ceremonial ribbon at 10:30 a.m.
The new location has approximately 14,000 square feet and includes an administrative suite on the first floor. The entire second floor has classrooms, resource rooms, faculty offices, a computer lab and a student break room.
"The environment for our students and staff is a very friendly and comfortable one. The classrooms are comfortable, quiet and extremely well equipped," said John Adams, Park University-Austin campus director. "We are satisfied that if a prospective student comes here, they will be impressed that this is a quality school, in a quality setting and with tuition rates that almost anyone can afford."
Having served the Austin area for 30 years, this move will help Park University extend and expand its enrollment opportunities to the students in the area. The new location offers a geographically appealing campus site for current and potential students.
