
The Park University annual Founders Day Celebration will be Tuesday, Apr. 26 in the Chicago Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Crown Center in Kansas City, Mo. Cocktails will begin at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7 p.m.
This year's black tie affair will honor R. Crosby Kemper, chairman emeritus of UMB, for his service to the Greater Kansas City Community.
The program will include a presentation on "Our Foundation - Our Future" by Park President Dr. Beverley Byers-Pevitts. The musical entertainment will be performed by Clarinda Creighton, vice president for Student Services, and Adam Wade Duncan, Music Program chair and assistant professor of voice/choir.
The event co-chairs are Megan and Mariner Kemper, and Michelle and Peter J. deSilva. The cost to attend the reception and celebration is $150 per person. All proceeds from the Founders Day Celebration will benefit the Presidential Honors Scholarship Program at Park University.
