The Office of Student Life invites the Park Community to attend The Dream Alive Program on Wednesday, Mar. 16 at 11 a.m. in the Graham Tyler Memorial Chapel.

The program is free and open to the public.

The Dream Alive Program is a live commentary by Joe Rogers in dedication to the memory and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. and leaders of the civil rights movement. The program is an effort to help increase the understanding of the enormous contributions that Dr. King and movement leaders imparted to the nation and a reminder that their wisdom and vision are timeless.

The Former Lieutenant Governor of Colorado, Joe Rogers held the distinction of serving as America's youngest Lieutenant Governor and only the fourth African American in U.S. history ever elected as a state's #2 chief executive. Now a practicing attorney in Colorado, Rogers has been widely recognized for his work and commitment to strengthening America and in 2001 received the prestigious Trumpet Award from Time Warner's Turner Broadcasting System.

Known as a dynamic and energetic speaker, Rogers has presented at numerous colleges, corporations, conferences, programs, churches and conventions. His presentations are said to be a unique and positive blend of inspiration, history, motivation and education.
