Park University - School For Online Learning

Week 3!
We hope you are now acclimated to your classroom and are enjoying the interaction with your instructor and fellow students.

This week's email topic is Financial Aid.  We'd like to remind you of the following:

·        You can apply now for Financial Aid for the 2006 - 2007 academic year.  It might seem like the fall term is a long way off, but the earlier you apply, the better off you'll be and any unforeseen glitches can be taken care of without causing you to miss any class time.

·        In addition, if you plan to enroll for the Summer 2006 term, you must fill out the Summer Aid Request.  Both forms are available at:  http://www.park.edu/FinAid/Forms/rfa.aspx.

·        For your budget/planning purposes, remember that 10% of your total tuition and fees is required as a deposit the first term you enroll in any academic year.  That means that if you enroll in Fall 1 courses, you will need to pay the 10% deposit prior to confirmation in your classes.  If you don't plan to enroll for Fall 1, but rather wait till Fall 2, the 10% deposit will be due at that time.

·        It is also important to remember that Financial Aid is not released until after the Add/Drop period is over each term, so textbooks, supplies, etc…must be purchased prior to receiving your aid.
