Park University

Eighteen student-athletes from the Park University Department of Athletics earned Midlands Collegiate Athletics Conference (MCAC) Scholar Athlete honors for the 2004-05 academic year.

To earn the honor, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore, have a 3.5 cumulative grade point average or higher, and have completed at least two semesters at their present institution.

Park's honorees include: Helene Frachon (Cross Country), Amy Musil (Cross Country), Haley Daniel (Women's Soccer), Kate Johnson (Women's Soccer/Softball), Justin Boersma (Men's Soccer), David Waithaka (Men's Soccer), Whitney Abramson (Women's Volleyball), Meghaan Fountain (Women's Volleyball), Michelle Terry (Women's Volleyball), Terra Van Duine (Women's Volleyball), Michelle Dean (Women's Basketball), Christine Roten (Women's Basketball), Damien Stanley (Men's Basketball), Walker Swan (Men's Volleyball), Shannon Leap (Softball), Aaron Courter (Baseball), Ross McCoy (Baseball) and Liza Ruud (Track and Field).
