Park University will host "Fright Night" and celebrate Halloween with a "haunted carnival," scary stories, games, a costume contest and of course, treats. This year's annual event, sponsored by the Office of Student Life, will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24, at the Copley Quad on the University's Parkville Campus. The event is free and open to the public.

Trick-or-treating will be available from 6 to 8 p.m. in the new student residence hall at Copley Quad, with enough treats for 375 kids. "Tales from the crypt" will be told from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the residence hall's conference room. Prizes will be awarded in the costume contest about 7 p.m.

Park University is located at 8700 NW River Park Drive in Parkville. The main entrance is off of Highway 9. For this event, parking will be available near Julian Field at the Sixth Street entrance to the campus. For more information on the event, contact Eric Blair in the Office of Student Life at (816) 584-6377.
