Three Park University International Center for Music students will perform in a concert with the Kansas City Chamber Orchestra on Sunday, June 22, during a "Beethoven Mini Festival."
The concert will be held at 3 p.m. at Village Presbyterian Church, 6641 Mission Road in Prairie Village, Kan. The ICM students performing are Lolita Lisovskaya, who will be featured during "Piano Concerto No. 2;" Maria Ioudenitch, featured during "Romance in F;" and Christian Fatu, featured during "Violin Concerto" (last movement).
Lisovskaya is a graduate student at the International Center for Music studying with Stanislav Ioudenitch. Fatu is a graduate student at Park University under the direction of Ben Sayevich, and Maria Ioudenitch studies under Sayevich in the Youth Conservatory for Music at Park University.
The International Center for Music at Park was established to foster the exchange of master teacher/performers, renowned young musicians and programs from countries around the world.
The Kansas City Chamber Orchestra is made up of professional orchestral musicians. The orchestra includes members of the Kansas City Symphony, freelance professional musicians and teachers at universities in the area. For more information about the concert, visit www.kcchamberorchestra.org.
