NEWS RELEASE
"Fright Night," Park University's annual Halloween celebration, will be held on Friday, Oct. 26, at the Copley Quad residence hall on the Parkville Campus, from 6 to 8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, and children of all ages are encouraged to dress in their favorite Halloween costume.
Fright Night will include trick-or-treating for children throughout the Copley Quad residence hall from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Outside the residence hall, booths will be set up for face painting, crafts and carnival-style games. Featured events this year include a pumpkin carving contest, bobbing for apples, creating caramel apples, a duck toss, treasure hunts and a costume contest. More than 25 Park student organizations and departments will sponsor a booth.
"Everyone is welcome to visit Park University's Parkville Campus for a safe, fun and engaging opportunity to take the festivities of Halloween to the next level," said Andrew Davis, coordinator for student leadership and engagement.
Parking for the event will be available in the lot adjacent to the University's Sixth Street entrance next to Julian Field. For more information, contact the Office of Student Life at studentlife@park.edu or (816) 584-6377.
