International Center For Music In-Residence Piano Trio Will Perform at Folly

MEDIA RELEASE

A fundraising concert to benefit the Park University International Center for Music will feature the University's resident Park Piano Trio on Friday, Dec. 11, at the Folly Theater in Kansas City, Mo.

The program, which begins at 7:30 p.m., will include a performance of Ravel's "Piano Trio in A Minor."

The Park Piano Trio consists of pianist Stanislav Ioudenitch, executive director of the 
ICM and the Youth Conservatory for Music, and 2001 Van Cliburn gold medalist; violinist Ben Sayevich, professor of music; and cellist Martin Storey, assistant professor of music.

Individual tickets for the concert are $100, $50 and $25, depending on seat location. There is also a $1,000 sponsorship package available, which includes four premier-seating tickets; a private post-concert reception featuring special guest Behzod Abduraimov, a sophomore majoring in applied music/piano and the first place winner of the prestigious 2009 London International Piano Competition; recognition in the concert program; and a special VIP gift.
