Park to Host Organ RecitalBy Summer A. Evans - September 8, 2005 - 8:54 amEmail this article | Printer friendly page | Media Inquiries | Share on Facebook | Share on Twitter Sixteen year old prodigy, Nathan Laube will perform an organ recital at Park University's Graham Tyler Memorial Chapel on Monday, Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. A rising star among young recitalist, Laube received a full scholarship to the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia at the age of 15. This year, he begins his second year at Curtis where he is building a reputation as a brilliant organist. He serves at Organ Scholar at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Germantown and as assistant organist at the largest functioning pipe organ in the world, the Wanamaker Grand Court Organ in Philadelphia's Lord and Taylor Department Store. The recital is sponsored by the Greater Kansas City chapter of the American Guild of Organists, and is free and open to the public.
