Park to Host 50s Car ShowBy Summer A. Evans - May 31, 2005 - 3:38 pmEmail this article | Printer friendly page | Media Inquiries | Share on Facebook | Share on Twitter In honor of the Class of 1955, Park University will host a free 50s Car Show on Saturday, Jun. 11 from noon to 3 p.m. in front of Herr House residential hall at the campus in Parkville, Mo. The event is part of Park University's Alumni Weekend Celebration and the community is invited to attend. The cars will be provided by local car clubs, and individuals with cars from 1955 and older are welcome to bring their vehicles to display. The 50s Car Show is sponsored by Car Quest, Street Smart KC and Happy Days Dream Cars in Warrensburg, Mo. For more information, please contact Rich Kelleher at (816) 309-4078.
