Park University To Host Mathematics Competitions For High School Students January 27, 2012, 10:30 am Park University invites area high school students to the Mathematical Association of America's American Mathematics Competitions on Wednesday, Feb. 22, beginning at 10 a.m., on the University's Parkville Campus. The contests are the first in the series that lead to the USA Team at the International Mathematical Olympiad. Lee, Ph.D., will be on display at the Campanella Gallery on the University's Parkville Campus beginning Monday, Jan. 30, through Friday, March 16. Lee's exhibit, "Weaving Life's Remnants: Mixed Media Paintings by Andrea K. Lee," focuses on putting the pieces of one's life back together after loss, failure or disappointment. Park University Involved In Restoration Effort Of Historic Banneker School January 12, 2012, 8:30 am Park University is playing a role in an effort to restore the Banneker School, one of the first one-room schoolhouses west of the Mississippi River and the first African-American one-room schoolhouse in Platte County, Mo. Park University To Host Winter, Spring Coterie Theatre Classes January 6, 2012, 2:30 pm Children will take the stage this winter and spring when Park University partners with the Coterie Theatre to offer drama and acting classes at the University's Parkville Campus. Six-week camps for children in kindergarten through 12th grade are scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 21, through Saturday, May 5.
